Overview #
The XPulse dashboard is Xponent’s server health view: a simple, at-a-glance status screen that shows you how your site is performing, with clear health badges instead of raw technical data.
🚧 Coming soon: Client access to XPulse is currently in development. This article explains what you’ll see when it launches. Until then, monitoring is active on our side: if something needs your attention, our team will contact you directly.
What You’ll See #
When XPulse goes live for clients, the dashboard will show:
| Section | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Uptime status | Whether your site is up, down, or recovering: with history |
| Resource usage | CPU, memory, and disk at a glance (Green/Amber/Red) |
| Plugin health | Which plugins are current, outdated, or have known issues |
| Backup status | When the last backup ran and whether it verified |
| SSL & domain | Certificate validity and domain expiry |
Understanding the Health Badges #
- 🟢 Green: Everything is running normally. No action needed.
- 🟡 Amber: Something needs attention soon (e.g., disk usage climbing, a plugin update available). You’ll usually see a suggested action.
- 🔴 Red: Action required. If you see red, contact support immediately (or respond to our alert if we’ve already reached out).
What Happens Behind the Scenes (Right Now) #
Even before XPulse is client-facing, every Xponent site is monitored:
- Uptime checks every 15 minutes via Better Stack, with alerts routed to our team
- Automated backups on a schedule, verified after creation
- Security scanning: if a vulnerability is found, we act before it becomes an incident
The dashboard will simply make this visible to you.
What to Do While You Wait #
If you suspect an issue today, don’t wait for a dashboard: contact support via email (su*****@********co.za) or your plan’s channel. Include your site URL and what you’re seeing.
