Getting Started with Xponent Managed Hosting

1 min read

Overview #

Welcome to Xponent! This guide walks you through what happens after you sign up, what you receive, and the first steps to get your site live. Most of the technical work is handled for you: your job is mostly DNS, content, and getting to know your dashboard.

What Happens After You Sign Up #

Within 24 hours of signing up, our team completes the provisioning process:

  • Server setup: your site is provisioned on our managed GridPane infrastructure (performance-optimised, isolated, and monitored).
  • SSL certificate: HTTPS is installed and auto-renews, no action needed from you.
  • Stack installation: WordPress with the Xponent Target Stack: Elementor Pro, JetEngine, Fluent Forms, and the other licensed plugins included in your plan.
  • Monitoring: uptime checks are activated (15-minute intervals), with alerts routed to our team.
  • Backups: automated backups are enabled and verified.

What You Receive #

After provisioning, you get:

Item What it is
Admin login Secure WordPress administrator access to your site (delivered via secure handover)
Xpulse dashboard A Welcome page and health view inside your WordPress admin: health badges, Getting Started cards, and quick access to support
Xvault access Your plugin library and activation requests, inside your WordPress admin
Support channel The email address and ticket process for all support requests
DNS details The records you need to point your domain at your new hosting

Your First 7 Days #

  1. Verify DNS: point your domain at the nameservers/records we provide. We can assist with this if needed.
  2. Log in and explore: confirm your admin access works and review the Xponent Stack tab in Xvault.
  3. Set up forms: if your plan includes Fluent Forms, build your contact/lead forms. Need help? That’s what we’re for.
  4. Check your sending email: we configure transactional email (SMTP) so your site’s emails actually arrive.
  5. Add your content: load your pages, blog posts, or products. Our team can build the foundation; you fill it with content.
  6. Book a kickoff call: a short call to align on goals and answer questions.
