Overview #

All-in-One WP Migration (AI1WP) is the standard tool for moving WordPress sites between hosts. Its .wpress format is the de-facto handoff format in the industry: most sites arriving at Xponent were exported with it, and we use it for migrations and client-side backups. It is licensed by Xponent and included with your plan.

  • Site cloning: copy a site for staging or a new client

  • Your backups: server snapshots are the primary protection; AI1WP exports are the portable, client-visible copy.
